Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on cognifydigital.co, the website of Cognify Digital — a business of Neural Networks Group Pty Ltd (ABN 53 691 933 632). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

We are a software and AI engineering firm. This website is a marketing and enquiry site: it does not host a customer application, and it does not process customer records. Where we operate software on behalf of a client, that system is governed by the agreement for that engagement, not by this policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. They are used to keep a site working correctly, to remember context between pages, and to measure how a site is used. Some are set by us; some are set by services we rely on.

The cookies this site uses

Cookie or service	Set by	Purpose	Typical lifetime
nng_consent	This site	Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics in our cookie notice. The same choice is kept in your browser's local storage.	180 days
WordPress session cookies	This site	Only set for staff who log in to administer the website. Not set for ordinary visitors.	Session to 14 days
sf_attr	This site	Records how you arrived — campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), advertising click identifiers from Google, Meta and LinkedIn, the referring website, and the first and current page you landed on. If you send us an enquiry, this is attached to it so we know which campaign or article brought you to us.	Up to 90 days
Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*)	Google	Measures page views, traffic sources and enquiry conversions. Added to this site by Google Site Kit, using the Google tag GT-T5R8V5JV (gtag.js) served from Google Tag Manager.	Up to 2 years
Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk)	Microsoft	Heatmaps and session recordings — a replay of mouse movement, scrolling and clicks — used to find usability problems. Clarity masks text input by default, but you should assume your on-page behaviour is recorded.	Up to 1 year
AddToAny	AddToAny	Powers the social sharing buttons on blog articles.	Varies

What we do not do

• We do not sell the information these cookies collect.
• We do not use them to build profiles for anyone other than ourselves.
• We do not place advertising cookies of our own on this site.

Controlling cookies

Every visitor can accept or reject non-essential analytics at any time with the Cookie choices button at the bottom of every page. If your browser is set to a European or UK time zone, we ask first, and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity stay off until you choose Accept. For all other visitors they run until you choose Reject. Choosing Reject stops Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity and clears the cookies they set on this site. Your choice is stored on your device in a first-party cookie named nng_consent (and in your browser's local storage) for 180 days.

You can also:

• block or delete cookies in your browser settings — this site's content remains readable, though some behaviour may be less smooth;
• install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on;
• use your browser's private or incognito mode, which discards cookies when you close the window;
• enable "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signals, which some of these services honour.

If you would prefer that we delete attribution data already associated with an enquiry you sent us, email info@cognifydigital.co and we will remove it.

Where this information goes

Google, Microsoft and AddToAny process this information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States, under their own privacy terms. Our Privacy Policy explains overseas disclosure in more detail.
